Pitch Night in the Books

After two weeks of prep and a helpful Skype with L.A.-based TV writer Zachary Dodes, our class was ready to pitch their shows Tuesday night, and they did an extraordinary job.  Pitching is hard for the most experienced professionals -- like Sahara Desert dry mouth and Hurricane Hugo in the gut hard --  but we were impressed with the preparation and poise they demonstrated in front of our panel of cinema and writing professors, as well as our PR Agent, Briana -- who wasn't afraid to ask the tough questions, and gave her fellow students more grief mid-pitch than we did.

Website Launch!

Hey there, welcome to OzWebbies!

This site is home to a new webisode class at SUNY Oswego. Where in the hell is that, you ask? Well, we’re located way up in New York State, right on edge of lake Ontario, where the school boasts thriving Cinema and Screen Studies and Screenwriting programs.

SUNY Oswego

The twelve students in this course will be working together throughout this semester to create three original web series for your viewing pleasure. The students will write, direct, produce, shoot, edit, and publish these three new shows, and push them out to the world with the support you and lots of social media.

Not only will we feature the new shows themselves here, but you’ll be able to follow the ups and downs and all the drama of their creation through a behind the scenes, reality TV-style documentary series that will be published on this site each week.

Follow us, like us, watch us, and share us! We promise you won’t be disappointed.
